Y6 made lungs and blood!

May 20, 2015
Year 6 made a model of the lungs and it showed clearly how the diaphragm controls how much breath we take in.  We also made blood with Cheerios for red blood cells, marshmallows for white blood cells and water for the plasma.  To help our blood clot, we used oats for platelets…we had a great afternoon.
